Exercise:
🍁Take advantage of the fresh crisp days and beautiful changing leaves to walk outside! On sunny days you will get an extra boost of the disease fighting Vitamin D also known as the “sunshine vitamin”
🍁Allocating time for fitness with your family and friends. Whether it be for a walk, playing in the park or throwing a ball around in the yard, everyone can benefit and its more fun when done together! 
🍁Incorporate functional exercise into your day. Parking at the farthest point from the store or taking the steps instead of the elevator incorporates healthy habits into your day that can have lasting effects!

Prevent Sickness:
🍁We know that flu and other symptoms tend to hit harder in the cooler months. Here are some tips to help you stay as healthy as possible during these months:
🍁Wash hands frequently
🍁Get plenty of sleep- 6-8 hours a night.
🍁Drink plenty of water
🍁Maintain Good Nutrition

Eat Well & Maintain Good Nutrition:
🍁Take advantage of the abundance of fruits and vegetables of the fall season!  These fall foods provide great sources of anti-oxidants, vitamins & minerals to keep you healthy into the winter months!

🍁Fruits such as Apples, Grapes, Persimmons, Pears, Cranberries
🍁Leafy Greens such as Chard, Kale, Mustard Greens and Spinach 
🍁Sweet Potatoes and Winter Squash are packed with beta carotene
🍁Pumpkins are rich in vital antioxidants, packed with Vitamin A, C & E.
