Pat Swancutt

(PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS, Clinic Director)

Pat was born and raised in Manly, Iowa and now lives in Solon. He ran track and attained his undergraduate degree from Wartburg College before continuing on to the University of Iowa, graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2004. In addition to his work as a physical therapist, he has attained credentials as a Certified Athletic Trainer and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Pat’s clinical specialization has focused primarily in orthopedic manual physical therapy and he is also certified in trigger point dry needling. He has treated patients throughout the age spectrum with advanced experience in management of sports injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation.

In his free time, Pat loves spending time with his family and attending his kids’ sporting events, as well as spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys following the Iowa Hawkeyes. His interest in physical therapy began back in high school when he went through rehabilitation following knee surgery. Taking an Introduction to Athletic Training class and working as a student athletic trainer during his undergraduate time solidified his decision to advance in physical therapy.
