Katie Ryan
(PTA)
Katie is from Iowa City and got her BS in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa. Following that, she was the second accredited PTA class at Kirkwood Community College, getting her AAS degree.
Katie has been a practicing PTA for 22 years, majority of those spent in outpatient Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She was also the first PTA in Iowa to receive Advanced Proficiency in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy through the APTA.
Katie currently lives in Tipton with her husband Tim and two grown children, Allison and Bob. In her free time, Katie enjoys sports of all kinds , actively playing pickleball, golfing, working out and although admittedly hates losing to her family in the Fantasy Football league.
