Julie Fitzpatrick

(PT, MPT)

Julie is a physical therapist with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare arena. She earned her Masters and later her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. She resides with her spouse and two beautiful children in Coralville, where they enjoy a variety of sports activities and community interests. Julie has been actively involved with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women for the past 10 years and was the Iowa City Chair in 2018 and will be serving again as Co-Chair in 2019. She is also an artist and enjoys interior design in her free time.

Julie’s work has been dedicated to leading therapists and working with patients in a variety of rehabilitation settings including acute rehab, outpatient, inpatient acute care, and home health.

She is currently dedicating her time and focus on the wellness side of the healthcare continuum, providing a lifestyle medicine approach to patients receiving physical therapy services in Progressive’s Get Healthy PT program. She is shining a bright light; and bringing a voice to the power of nutrition, exercise and self-care; in an effort to transform lives and create a movement of health and wellness for all ages. Her passion is educating and inspiring others to be their best selves!

Realizing the importance of wellness for future generations she dedicates much of her work to helping individuals, along with parents, children and families overcome the obstacles of stress, poor nutrition, and busy lifestyles to improve their overall health and well-being.
