Tyler Vorrie
(PT, DPT)
I was born and raised as a farm kid in Thor, IA. I have four older brothers who keep me honest and two loving parents. I earned my bachelors degree from Buena Vista University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University. I’m a certified strength and conditioning specialist as well as a coach in the state of Iowa. Currently, my wife and I live in Iowa City where we enjoy going on walks, playing baseball/softball, reading on our porch, and attending our church in North Liberty. If we’re not doing those things, we’re watching an Atlanta Braves game.
My passion for physical therapy grew out of my necessity for it in high school and college athletics. I was always in the training room or PT clinic for some injury. I coached high school baseball for three years and played college ball for four, so I love being able use the tools I’ve gained over the years to help patients of all ages achieve their goals. Through that, I hope to hand those tools off to my patients in order for them to be stronger and overall healthier than they were before.
